Dr Shaun Matthews is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at King’s College Hospital in London. He obtained his undergraduate dental degree from the University of Dundee in 1986 and his undergraduate medical degree from the Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in 1995.
Having completed his basic surgical training at Kingston Hospital in 1998, Mr Matthews returned to Scotland for his specialist training at the renowned Canniesburn Hospital in Glasgow. During this time, he had the benefit of wide exposure to all aspects of Oral and Maxillo-facial surgery but cultivated specific interests in the treatment of dento-facial deformity, maxillo-facial trauma and temporomandibular joint surgery.
